Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actor who made her name with clever raps that tackled sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comic perspective. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Alongside classical music and jazz, she started to study hip-hop during her teens. In the school, she focused on journalism and woman's studies. She also studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she graduated. In 2012, My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet hit and was included in her debut album Yellow Ranger. The other viral hit songs included queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide that was published in 2015, which was a different project. She opted to pursue acting as a profession following the completion of her previous two projects, as an author and musician. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered an array of noteworthy roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
