Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. She is a well-known actress as the actress in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to be a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She currently works as an analyst managing the Assassination Witness project, and is a core member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement Team. The GI-TOC's research activities concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and various forms of violence, particularly in the context of illicit economy. Her research interests are in the impact of organized criminality on the law, policies and laws pertaining to human rights. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She holds a LL.M. of Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a licensed lawyer, having practised at a law firm focused on public law litigation for over four years. She also has held variety of assisting positions at two non-governmental organizations, Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
