McKayla Rose Maroney (also known as "Mack Air Maroney") is an American well-known gymnast. She won gold with her US Olympic gymnastics team, and also a silver individual gold medal during the Summer Olympic Games in 2012. Due to her parents' participation in sport, McKayla Rose Maroney was able to pursue gymnastics at a young age. The vaulter was specialist, and the only person to win and defend the gold medal at two championships in succession.
